Token distributions
On top of competitive💲ADA returns, RABIT offers tiered extra reward distributions. Every epoch, by staking a minimum of 1,000 ADA to RABIT, delegators will receive juicy Cardano Native Tokens👇
- TIER 1 (delegating for 1+ epoch): 1,000,000 HOSKY
- TIER 2 (delegating for 2+ epochs): 100 HUNT
- TIER 3 (delegating for 3+ epochs): 100 WMTx
- TIER 4 (delegating for 4+ epochs): 100 IAG
- TIER 5 (delegating for 5+ epochs): 5,000 SNEK and 500 XER
Each tier includes all rewards from previous tiers. Actual amount distributed is proportional to each delegator's stake. All tokens can be claimed on Tosidrop.
Infrastructure
RABIT is entirely ☁️cloud based and currently operates on Hetzner. The infrastructure is on efficient Ampere Altra ARM architecture, providing a cost benefit for the operation as well as lowering the energy requirements for the individual nodes.
RABIT runs on virtual machines located in EMAS-certified datacentres which have the following specs:
- 16 Cores based on AMD Ampere Altra Neoverse-N1 processors at 3.3 GHz
- 32 GB RAM
- 320 GB NVMe SSD storage
- Redundant 10 Gbit uplink
Why is RABIT cloud based?
Running a Cardano Stake Pool on cloud based infrastructure is expensive, but affords a degree of flexibility and scalability that other methods do not. In 5 years of operation, RABIT has never had any significant downtime and continues to adapt to changing requirements of the Cardano network in an agile and resilience-focussed way.
